The spiritual, deeper meaning of the Sabbath is that it represent loyalty to the Creator, to His kingdom. Loyalty to the sanctifier who redeem you from your old self and the old order, of being filled with the moral character (law and spirit) of this world, the flesh, of self. Or of Babylon, which is a mix of the holy law and spirit with the unholy. To advance forward to the new, mature, everlasting, spiritual law and order of the triune God. It represent loyalty to the new, mature, everlasting, higher, spiritual law, covenant and order and its God.

What you focus on first and foremost becomes your idol, your god. So if you focus more and value more the lighter, temporal, limited truths and ways, then your god is not currently the Creator, the God of the new, everlasting, spiritual kingdom. But the lord of the old, immature law and order, this world or Babylon. Your god is then the prince of this world, the false, Christ, the whore of Babylon. In order to advance forward, you must take up your cross, crucify your taste for the limited, for your inclination to get stuck in traditions and the seemingly safe, your inclination to get hooked on the things and cares of this world and this life, rather than on the deeper, greater things of God.

“0 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” 1. Corinthians 10.

The 7th Day Sabbath is also a day set apart for the spiritual

subject, to honor the Creator and His spiritual kingdom, the new law, covenant, order.

Grace = Spiritual power from the holy spirit, the same power that created this earth. This same power can recreate us in the image of God. This power we receive from God as a free, undeserved gift, if we choose to travel and endure the way of the cross, the way of sanctification, in order to go from the literal kingdom to the spiritual. This is to be born anew, born by the spirit where we receive the everlasting, divine law on our hearts and minds = the divine moral character = the divine nature.

So we see the importance and role of the Holy spirit in this recreation from unsanctified to sanctified humans. Hence also then part of the sealing. Hence, to drag in subjects revolving mainly around the cares of this physical kingdom (vaccine discussions for instance), in the professed Sabbath keeping churches as the main theme, is hypocrisy and more a desecration of the holy Sabbath, than to keep it holy. So some Sabbath keepers, like some SDA's, may keep the correct day of the 7th Day Sabbath, yet may fail to keep the spirit of the 7th Day Sabbath and thus fail to be loyal to the Lord of the Sabbath Day, by having a wrong, too strong overfocus on the temporal things. Like a *too strong* emphasis on the health message or focus only on humanitarian aid and saving this old earth, while neglecting the importance of evangelistic work.

Why? While we are to have a focus on the things of this world, including health reform and humanitarian aid, to put it first or perhaps as only, suggests that a person view things from a frog’s perspective and walk by sight, rather than from a bird’s perspective, and walk by faith, which is to have an everlasting perspective of things. An atheist who most definitely walk by sight, and not by faith, will often focus largely on both physical health environmentalism and humanitarian aid, while completely ridicule the idea of evangelism. What your main focus is, what is your FIRST priority, becomes your idol, your god. In both of these examples, if the main focus is wrong, then the person ends up worshiping creation (the temporal/apparent kingdom) instead of the creator and His spiritual kingdom. And also for refusing to advance forward to greater light, getting stuck in the old, immature (fallen) law, covenant and order under the prince of the fallen. Both the day and the spirit of the 4th commandment is important though, but the spiritual weighs even heavier. See Matthew chapter 23. Thus, those who claim to observe the true Sabbath day, may at the same time dishonor the Lord of the Sabbath and the deeper, fuller meaning of the seventh-day Sabbath. They will then walk by “sight” (according to the law and spirit of this perishable, physical world), which is also in the category of self righteousness rather than the righteousness of Christ, instead of walking by faith in the spiritual, invisible, first and foremost. (Seek the kingdom of God, first). We shall love God (the Creator) and His kingdom above everything and everyone. And then mankind (the creation) in second place, in terms of priority. Matthew 22: 37-39.
